Abstract: Structural self-vibration characteristic test is one of the most important contents of long-span bridge quality evaluation. In this paper, a quick and reliable method of environment random excitation is proposed for self-vibration characteristic test. Based on the theory of IDTmodal parameter identification in time domain, and using the impulse response signals acquired from each structural measuring point, the method is used to analyze the self-characteristics of a long-span bridge.-
