Abstract: The aim is to solve two kinds of cubic spline interpolation functions in a general algorithm and show the detailed derivation. By combining the spline equations based on the initial conditions for two kinds of splines, the calculation formula for cubic spline interpolation functions is derived in detail without changing the error and convergence. The research shows that two kinds of cubic spline interpolation functions can be solved in this algorithm.
