Abstract: In this paper, based on the analysis of the genetic algorithm on binary coding, a preliminary discussion is made on the genetic algorithmof natural number coding. The schema and the order of schema which are based on natural number coding are discussed, and the correspondingschema theory is derived. It is concluded that the derived theory is analogous to the schema theorywith binary coding. The conclusion is helpful in explaining the convergence of the genetic algorithmwith natural number coding.
