Abstract: The problem of claim for the loss caused by productivity descending in engineering project claims is discussed. By use of the time sequence exponential smoothing principle and method and fuzzymathematical theory, a fuzzy assessmentmethod for cost in the calculation of loss caused by productivity descending is proposed. A fuzzy static assessment model with time factor and a fuzzy dynamical assessment model without time factor are built, with their algorithms discussed.
