The uniaxial cyclic deformation behaviors of 63Sn-37Pb solder alloy were experimentally
investigated underdifferentdwell times, strain rates, strain amplitudes, strain-time loadingwaveforms
and loading histories. The study shows that the solder alloy has a significant strain-rate sensitivity, its instant deformation behavior under uniaxial cyclic loading is dependent on dwell time, loading waveform and strain amplitude, but the dependence of the cyclic deformation behavior on loading history is not significant.
