To begin with, the distribution of stations of high-speed railways in foreign countries and in
China, such as Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway and Qinghuangdao-Shenyang passenger special line, is
introduced. Then, based on this, the rational distances between stations of high-speed railways are analyzed
in viewof the actual situation of railway stations of China, carrying capacity and the ratios of the number
and speed of high-speed trains to those ofmoderate-speed trains, and so on. According to the time intervals
between trains spaced by automatic block sign, different distances between stations are suggested.
