Application of the Wavelet Transform to the Failure Diagnosis of Tilting Trains

The probable failure of tilting mechanism control system is analyzed. Failures on actuator and sensor oftilting control systemare detected by checkingwhetherthere is a sudden change on the singularities in the wavelet transformof signal under the condition of multidimensional comprehensive behaviors, and the simulation of the gyroscope failure result shows that the detecting method proposed in this paper is fairly effective.
