Evaluation of Seismic Resistance of Highway Bridges

As one part of work in an expert system for the evaluation of seismic resistance of highway bridges, the probability and degree of deformation and structural strength damage caused by earthquake in highwaybridges are specifically analyzed. Based on the transcendental probability of the seismic resistance codes, the dangerous seismic damages are assessed; this helps in improving the safety level of bridges on seismic resistance.
