Parameters of Secondary Lateral Stopping Block of Vehicle

  • In order to further the investigate influence of a secondary lateral stopping block on the dynamic performance of a vehicle and to supply a reference and guidance for bogie design,the effects of parameters of a stopping block,including stop gap and stop stiffness,on comfort and safety indices of running were probed into by taking the curve negotiation of vehicle as an example.The research results show that the stop gap and the stop stiffness have a great effect on the lateral acceleration of car body,but they have a little effect on the dynamic interaction indices of wheel/rail.Proper increase of the stop gap or reasonable decrease of the stop stiffness can reduce the lateral vibration of the car body to improve the running comfort.
