An adaptive error concealment algorithm based on H.26L was proposed by making use of
the feature and parameters of decoded frames. The algorithm uses three concealment algorithms,
namely, boundary matching algorithm (BMA), spatial interpolation ( SI) and frequency
interpolation (FI), adaptively according to error characteristics. It is independent of information
provided by the encoder. Simulation results showed that the proposed algorithm was much more
effective subjectively and objectively than any of the existing ones, especially for the changing scenes
and fast motions.
